Women’s Wellness

Women’s health and wellness often links back to what their hormones are doing. Major health issues can arise from hormone imbalances.

Hormone imbalance symptoms include: heavy, painful or irregular periods; breast tenderness; mood swings; indigestion; constipation and diarrhoea; and acne, particularly during or just before menstruation.

Direct influencers include hormone contraceptives, pregnancy and childbirth. Less direct contributors include periods of stress, dietary & lifestyle habits, and even things like toiletries and plastics in our daily environment.

Digestive & liver health are key players too – without good liver function, the body cannot metabolise hormones, leading to things like oestrogen dominance & thyroid abnormalities, which can contribute to the issues mentioned above.

Conditions include:

PMS
Endometriosis
PCOS
Fibroids
Female infertility
Menopause
Thyroid conditions
