Digestive Health

Digestive health is the cornerstone of all qualified nutritionist’s work. Many health conditions can be greatly improved by working on the health and function of the digestive tract – oesophagus, stomach, small intestines and large intestines – as well as the digestive organs.

When necessary, I can use relevant testing to help get to the bottom of your digestive issues. These include stool testing, food intolerance testing, and elimination diets.

The evolving knowledge around gut microbiota and use of probiotics is a huge, as well as ongoing, development for gut health. There is also a much greater understanding of the gut-brain axis, so we have a useful tool to use in mood- and behaviour-related issues.
